The World Screensaver

The World Screensaver is a lovely screensaver that displays images of places from all around the world. It includes over 200 pictures shown one by one, with lots of transition effects. You can customize the effects from the settings menu, or simply set the screensaver to randomize them. The images include beautiful landscapes, landmarks, famous buildings, among other things. The quality of the images is good, but not impressive. Unfortunately, the screensaver doesn't include sounds nor music, which would definitely make it more attractive. A clock could also be very useful.

Something that most screensavers lack is the ability to select the exit conditions, and this screensaver has it, offering multiple options. You can also customize the mouse threshold and set a time limitation for the screensaver. It would be great if the images could be shown randomly and not in order, since you will surely get tired of seeing the first images all the time.

In short, The World Screensaver offers lots of images to enjoy, although it lacks many useful features that would make it much more attractive and enjoyable.
